A. Interior Plywood

MR (Moisture Resistant) Plywood – Also called commercial plywood, used for furniture, cabinets, and indoor use.

BWR (Boiling Water Resistant) Plywood – More water-resistant than MR, suitable for kitchen cabinets and semi-wet areas.


B. Exterior Plywood

BWP (Boiling Water Proof) / Marine Plywood – Highly water-resistant, used for boats, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor furniture.

Shuttering Plywood – Used in construction for concrete formwork.


C. Structural Plywood

Blockboard – Made with wooden blocks between plywood layers, used for doors and partitions.

Film-Faced Plywood – Coated with a film for waterproofing, used in construction and furniture.


2. Based on Core Material

Gurjan Plywood – Made from high-quality hardwood, strong and durable.

Eucalyptus Plywood – High strength, commonly used in interiors.

Poplar Plywood – Lightweight and affordable, used in furniture.


3. Based on Manufacturing Process

Flexible Plywood (Bendable Ply) – Used for curved furniture designs.

Fire-Retardant Plywood – Treated with fire-resistant chemicals, used in commercial spaces.

Calibrated Plywood – Uniform thickness, ideal for modular furniture.
